FOSM's purchased the materials to build a ZIG-ZAG FENCE at the Tree Spring Trailhead. This was done to prevent people from cutting up to the trailhead directly from the parking lot and to prevent people from going up into the old ski area next to Tree Spring to sled down the hill in the winter (a safety issue). The first 5 photos below show our skilled crew putting up this fence, and many other photos from our year's work around the Sandia Mountains.

Sometimes we deal with Box Elder Bugs. Sometimes an entire trail (Faulty) is blocked by trees.
Wow! Here comes a volunteer on the cleared Faulty Trail. Trees have Rorschach Tests!
